In the scorching summer, the Tarim Gobi Desert is engulfed in blazing heat. In stark contrast, the fruit and vegetable garden at the resident site of CNLC Tarim Branch is lush and verdant, brimming with fragrant ripe fruits. To advance the employee warmth and care project and improve living conditions for staff stationed in the Gobi, the branch has revitalized idle barren land to build an ecological fruit and vegetable garden. Staff members devote their spare time to farming and maintenance, transforming the desolate land into a pleasant pastoral garden.
Various fruits and vegetables including grapes, apricots and strawberries in the garden have ripened one after another. The fresh produce has enriched employees’ daily meals and improved the logistics support conditions in the Gobi area. This miniature garden beautifies the resident environment, diversifies employees’ spare-time activities and strengthens team cohesion. It enables front-line staff adhering to their posts in the desert to truly feel the care of the enterprise and a strong sense of home.
